Nebraska State Fair won Five first place awards in the annual International Association of Fairs and Exhibitions (IAFE) competitions. Winners were announced Thursday in an online video presentation. The annual competition pits fairs of similar size against each other in areas of Communications and Marketing, Competitive Events, Agricultural Awards, Sponsorship Development, and Non-Fair Facility usage.
In 2022, the State Fair took first place in Communications and Marketing for Social Media performance and for Single-Sided promotional ad. The Fair received third place for the Best Marketing Campaign in its division.
State Fair won two major Ag Awards. The first was for a policy to improve the judging selection process while the second was for Agricultural Individual Photo 4H/FFA (winning photo pictured). State Fair garnered two additional second place ag competition finishes and one third place award.
Nebraska State Fair’s Competitive Exhibits program took First place in one of the ten Competitive Events areas.
Awards were presented at the fair organization’s annual international convention was in Indianapolis at the end of November 2022.
