‘Whatever Your Flavor,’ State Fair has it in concert series
The Nebraska State Fair welcomes six acts — ranging from comedy to country, rock to Christian — to the Nebraska Lottery Concert Series. Bucking bulls, ATV aerobatics, powerful tractors and crashing cars promise to deliver the thrills in this year’s Nebraska State Fair dirt events. Fair Board names Parr new executive director
Jaime Parr is the new executive director of the Nebraska State Fair. The State Fair Board approved Parr’s appointment at its meeting on Friday after naming her interim executive director in October. Nebraska State Fair won Five first place awards in the annual International Association of Fairs and Exhibitions (IAFE) competitions. Winners were announced Thursday in an online video presentation. State Fair Attendance up Nearly 8%
The Nebraska State Fair finished its successful 11-day run in Grand Island on Labor Day Monday with reason to celebrate. The State Fair had a 7.9% increase in attendance, finishing with an estimated 11-day total of 287,367 guests.
