The Nebraska State Fair offers daily parades in celebration of Nebraska's economics, education, and entertainment. The parades have floats, company mascots, animals, motor vehicles, tractors, carriages, specialty vehicles, wagons, entertainers, and so much more! We invite you to participate in one of our daily parades by filling out this registration form!


Parade participants will receive complimentary gate admission to get in the gate. (Limit 20 people per entry.) Entries are encouraged to feature the 2021 Nebraska State Fair theme (Nothing More Nebraskan).

Nebraska State Fair Celebration Parades August 27th, August 30th, August 31, September 1st, September 2nd and September 3rd will start at 6 p.m.  August 28th, August 29th, September 4th, September 5th, and September 6th at 2 p.m. 

Veterans Day Celebration Parade September 6th begins at 2:00 p.m. 

Days to keep in mind:

  • Monday, Aug. 30 - 6 p.m.  Older Nebraskans Day
  • Saturday, Sept. 4th - 2:00 p.m. County Fair Day
  • Monday, Sept. 6th - 2 p.m. Veterans Day

Parade participation is at the discretion of the Nebraska State Fair. The Nebraska State Fair reserves the right to limit the number of units and participants.

Terms And Sign-Up

Nebraska State Fair Parade Guidelines
  • Throwing or handing out candy, promotional literature or any other items from any entry is prohibited.
  • In order to keep the parade moving at a steady pace, no entries will be allowed to stop.
  • Entries with animals are responsible for cleaning up after their animals.
  • Helmets are required for all terrain vehicles and motorcycles.
  • Entries must provide an entertainment value to the parade.
  • Entries must not be solely of a promotional nature (i.e. promotional vehicles, organization banner, etc.)
  • Entries that are not sponsors or partners with the NSF, that are of a promotional nature, must also include an entertainment value.
  • The fair is a family oriented entity. Profanity and inappropriate content will not be tolerated, in the staging area or along the parade route. The NSF has the right to remove any participant who displays this type of conduct.
  • The NSF reserves the right to request a photo or sketch of any entry.
  • Entries must complete the entire parade route.
  • The NSF reserves the right to deny participation to any entry that does not abide by these guidelines. Parade participation is at the discretion of the NSF.
  • Entries and Participants agree to the Color Guard Policy for Nebraska State Fair Celebration Parades (see attached document).
