Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the State Fair Board Room located at 501 E. Fonner Park Rd, Ste 200, Grand Island, NE 68801, until November 6, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
The project consists of construction of approximately 21,300 LF of 12”, 15”, 18”, 24”, 30”, 30”x19”, and 38”x24” storm sewer pipe and 24” wide trench drain, underground storm water detention system, area inlets, drain basins, curb inlets, and junction boxes, 3,150 LF of 2” sanitary sewer force main 4”, 6”, and 8” gravity sanitary sewer main, sanitary sewer manholes, sanitary sewer cleanouts, and packaged lift station, 1,200 LF of 1.5” and 6” water services and main, yard hydrants, and fire hydrants, 4,500 SY of concrete sidewalk, 86,500 SY of concrete pavement, 38,400 SY of permeable surface products, site electrical and lighting including conduit, wiring, light poles, and electrical structures, site landscaping including seeding, trees, plantings, seat wall, shade structures, and irrigation, dewatering, earthwork, grading, traffic control, fencing, and all other associated work as indicated on the drawings and within the specifications.

Nebraska State Fair HVAC Service Provider
Nebraska State Fair (NSF) is seeking a qualified HVAC Support Service to perform regular maintenance and operational improvements as needed, for the Nebraska State Fair (organization).
Scope
Please give an overall strategy for maintaining HVAC units in large facilities.
Provide a proposed service budget for 2025, based on full-year maintenance in Nebraska Building (12 Units), LESS the Raising Nebraska exhibit space. PLUS the 60-day use of Pinnacle Bank Expo Center (20 units), Sheep Barn (3 units), Five Points Bank Arena (5 units), Tom Dinsdale Automotive Cattle Barn (3 units), Aurora Cooperative Pavilion (3 units), and any other Fonner Park Campus barns or facilities needing service for State Fair events and activities in August – September each year.

List your complete bid, including rates for service to be provided.
Will service provider guarantee in (a) above that pricing shall 1.) not increase over the life of the agreement, or 2.) guarantee price increases will not exceed a set percentage per year or a set percentage over the life of the agreement?
Please consider and include if you are interested to include any portion of work performed, up to a declared dollar value, or % off of rate/s, in exchange for in-kind-trade for sponsorship recognition and benefits during State Fair and Aksarben Stock Show.
Please reflect on the opportunity of retaining the agreement for three (3) consecutive years with the option to renew for an additional two (2)-years and provide commentary.
