The Nebraska State fairgrounds offer services and amenities to help accommodate our guests with differing abilities and for those who need additional assistance and consideration during their visit!Â

Low stimulation Sensory room
The Nebraska State Fair will have a low stimulation sensory room during the State Fair! This space is designed for individuals who would benefit from a low-sensory environment and those who have sensory-processing challenges! Come enjoy a calm space dedicated to helping decompress and provide a more gentle surrounding. Enjoy various activities and a safe space! This room is located in Room 5 of the Bosselman’s Conference Center and open daily from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M
Wheelchair & Scooter Rentals
Enjoy your visit to the Nebraska State Fair with ease! Scooter and wheelchair rentals are available for your convenience at both the Main Gate and the ADA Parking Gate.
Rental Rates:
- Electric Mobility Scooter: $75.00 (8:00 A.M. – 11:00 P.M.)
- Wheelchair: $30.00
- Wagon: $20.00
- Single Stroller: $20.00
- Double Stroller: $25.00
Reservations:
Hometown Mobility is now accepting online reservations for wheelchairs and electric mobility scooters. Reserve your rental at www.Htmia.com or by calling (712) 938-2029 from 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, and on weekends during the Fair.
Important Notes:
- Phone reservations are subject to a $5.00 call-in fee.
- Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- Cancellations require 45 hours’ notice to receive a refund (minus a $5.00 cancellation fee per rental unit).

ADA Accessible Parking
We will have free ADA accessible parking available at the Main Gate, located off of South Locust Street. As well as Gate #6, located off of Fonner Park Road. Please refer to the map below!Â
Courtesy Carts
Courtesy carts are available daily to provide rides from one location to another on grounds. Each cart is labeled with a courtesy cart sign and driven by a volunteer wearing their signature yellow shirts. Carts are always on the move as there are no set pick up locations. To request a ride visit any of the info kiosks throughout the grounds, find a State Fair employee, or a volunteer supervisor identified by their orange shirts!
Closed Captioning at Concert
Closed Captioning will be featured at all concerts. Guests are invited to view the captions on the video screens during the show or from their mobile device.Â

Wade Shows Carnival
The Wade Shows Kiddie Land located on the West 1/3 of the Carnival will operate with no music or added noises/sound for the first two hours of each day.Â
The entire Wade Shows carnival will operate with limited volume and noise from 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. on Friday, August 30 for Fair-Tastic Friday!
