| Billy Currington Heads the Country Line-Up at the Nebraska State Fair | |

Platinum-selling Country recording artist Billy Currington is set to perform at the Nebraska State Fair on Saturday, September 1, 2011. Chelsey Jungck, Events and Entertainment Director with the Nebraska State Fair says, “Currington has garnered an impressive ten Top 10 hits, with seven of those hitting number one. Having sold millions of albums, Currington has toured with the likes of Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Sugarland. Today, he’s a standout performer ready to take his hits like “Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer,” “That’s How Country Boys Roll,” and “People are Crazy,” to the State Fair stage at the Heartland Events Center.” Currington’s multiple award nominations include two Grammy Nominations, (Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Song) for “People are Crazy,” which also received nominations for Single and Song of the Year from the Academy of Country Music as well as Single, Song and Video of the Year from the Country Music Association. Jungck says, “Billy Currington is the perfect complement to our entertainment line-up at the 2012 Nebraska State Fair.
