Chuck Rolf from Albion, Neb. was elected to the Nebraska State Fair board of directors from District 3, at the Nebraska Association of Fair Managers convention over the weekend in Kearney.

   According to State Fair executive director Joseph McDermott, “We’re very pleased to have Chuck on our board. He’s served on the Boone County Fair board for over 25-years and also served a 4-year term on the board of the Nebraska Association of Fair Managers. There’s no question that he has the experience we need to continue the success we’ve enjoyed at the Nebraska State Fair.”

   Rolf works in construction and also owns a limestone personalization business. He will begin his three-year term at the February Nebraska State Fair board meeting.

   State Fair board incumbents Doug Brand from Seward, serving District 1 and Dan Kunnemann from Imperial representing District 4 were reelected for three year terms.
