Heart Completes the 2010 Nebraska State Fair Entertainment Series
Grand Island, NE - As they head back on the road with their Red Velvet Car, the sisters Wilson of Heart are excited.Their excitement will undoubtedly be shared as Heart brings their ever popular and high energy show to the Nebraska State Fair
Veterans Day on Friday, September 3, 2010, will provide a day of entertainment including a Parade of Colors and more. The celebration is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Heartland Events Center.

2010 Nebraska State Fair Announces Older Nebraskans Festival
TheOlder Nebraskans Festival on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 will provide a day of entertainment along with health, wellness, and informational exhibits. The festival is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. The exhibits will be available from 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. and fair gate admission is only $2.

Mel Tillis to Perfom at Older Nebraskans Festival at the 2010 NE State Fair
Country music legend, Mel Tillis will be performing for the Older Nebraskans Festival audience at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in the Heartland Events Center. The show is free with a paid gate admission to the Fair.

Boys Like Girls to Perform At The Nebraska State Fair
Look no further than "Love Drunk," the album’s anthemic lead single and title track on Boys Like Girls latest album, making them an electrifying addition to the 2010 Nebraska State Fair Entertainment Series . They will take the stage at the Heartland Events Center on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. Boys Like Girls will be a free show with paid gate admission.
Josh Turner, the country singer-songwriter with a deep, soulful voice has joined the 2010 Nebraska State Fair Entertainment Series. His performance begins at 8:00p.m. on Labor Day, Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Heartland Events Center. The show is free with a paid gate admission.

Nebraska State Fair to Host Media Day June 11th, 2010
Join the Nebraska State Fair Board and Staff at Media Day on June 11, 2010 in conjunction with our Board Meeting and Grounds Dediation. The Media Day will be held at the fairgrounds at the Bossleman Conference Center at Fonner Park from 10 a.m. - 12 noon.
Winners have been chosen for the 2010 Nebraska State Fair "Know Nebraska" competition. "Know Nebraska" provides an opportunity for all communities across Nebraska to compete for one of three prized and complimentary exhibit booth spaces at the 2010 State Fair.
Lifehouse, radio–ready song craftsmen and raucous live rock and roll band is the latest addition to the 2010 Nebraska State Fair Entertainment Series. They will be on stage at the Heartland Events Center on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. The show is free with a paid gate admission.
Martina McBride, four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, adds an additional element of excitement to the final weekend of the 2010 Nebraska State Fair. The concert begins at 8:00p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Heartland Events Center. Tickets are $25 plus gate admission to the Fair and standard Ticketmaster fees. Tickets will be available mid-June.
Phil Vassar opens this year’s Entertainment Series at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Heartland Events Center. The show is free with a paid gate admission.
The Nebraska State Fair and Nebraska Farm Bureau will again recognize five outstanding farm and ranch families as the Ag Family of the Day program returns to the 2010 State Fair. Selected families will be honored on each of the Fair's weekends as well as Labor Day.

Nebraska State Fair Announces 2010 Livestock Schedule The 2010 Nebraska State Fair will not only feature many new and exciting activities, attractions and tasty treats but it will also feature a redesigned livestock schedule.The redesign focuses on a family friendly approach to the exhibition plan.Families will be stalled together and the schedule will allow for them to be at the fair at the same time.
