Monster Truck Show

Sunday, August 30, 5:00p.m.- Grandstand

Extreme Monster Truck Nationals bring some of the most world known trucks! You might have the opportunity to see a wheelie contest, side-by-side drag racing and Monster Truck free-style. You might even see free-style motorcycle jumping.

 

Car Races

Friday, September 4 - Grandstand

Hot Laps start at 7:00p.m. and

Races start at 7:30p.m.

You'll get the chance to see IMCA Modified, IMCA Hobby Stock, IMCA Sport Mods, and NAPA Nebraska State Championship Hobby Stock races!  

 

Tractor Pull

Saturday, September 5, 1:00p.m. - Grandstand

The engines roar at the Nebraska State Fair Tractor Pull.  In the competition, tractors pull a heavy sled along a track and offer progressively greater resistance as the competition heats up! Although the vehicles produce a great deal of noise and smoke and throw dirt everywhere, they don’t actually travel very far! Tractor Pull categories include Super Farm Tractors, Pro Stock Tractors, Modified 2WD Trucks and Modified Tractors.

Draft Horse Pull

Saturday, September 5, 5:00p.m. - Coliseum

The Draft Horse Pull is a new competition to the Nebraska State Fair. Watch as teams of horses pull a dynamometer the required distance in one continuous pull. FREE event.

 

Demolition Derby

Monday, September 7, 1:00p.m. - Grandstand

Demolition Derby is an action packed motor-sport where drivers compete by deliberately ramming their vehicles into one another.

 

2009 Grandstand Admission:

Adults (Ages 13 & older): $7
Children (Ages 6 to 12 years old): $2
Children (Ages 5 & under): Free

Grandstand admission does not include outside gate admission into the Fair.
