IAFE National Code of Show Ring Ethics
Exhibitors are expected to act with honesty and good sportsmanship. This Code of Ethics applies to Junior as well as Open Class Exhibitors who compete in structured classes of competition.
- The following information is a guide to cattle producers and youth raising 4-H/FFA beef projects.

On-line Entry Guidelines
Exhibitors are encouraged to enter online rather than by mail. The process saves postage, is faster and less prone to entry errors.
Herdsmanship
Check-In Trailer Information
All Livestock Exhibitors, except Equine, must enter the Nebraska State Fair by first coming to the Check in Trailer, which is located on Stolley Park Road, in Brunks Lot, across from the South Entrance Gate to the complex. You MUST access Stolley Park Road from Stuhr Road. Click here for map.
All Exhibitors must come to the check in trailer prior to entering the grounds, to receive Parking Passes, Exhibitor Badges, and Tickets. DO NOT try to enter the grounds without coming to the Check In Trailer FIRST.

2013 Department of Ag - Elite Showmanship Competition

Saturday, August 31
Bosselman Conference Center, Swine Arena, & Five Points Bank Arena
Contest is open to both 4-H and FFA competitors; however, there may be only one exhibitor per county
Each participant must be at least 14 years of age to be eligible to show. Contest will include: a written test, beef showmanship, sheep showmanship, swine showmanship and interview. In small group rounds, exhibitors will be judged on their ability to effectively present the animal and conduct an interview about the species.
